1. Data Storage & Privacy

100% Local Storage: All tasks, thoughts, priority markers, and timers created within Shortly are stored directly on your physical device using secure local storage interfaces.
No Cloud Syncing: We do not operate external cloud servers or databases to back up or sync your personal app content.
Auto-Deletion: True to the app's core design, your personal app data automatically vanishes from your device's local memory after 24 hours.

2. Analytics & Performance Tracking

To help us understand how the app performs and improve your user experience, we utilize PostHog Analytics.

This tool tracks completely anonymous interaction patterns (such as tapping an interface button or swiping to complete a task).
It never collects, views, or transmits the actual text, titles, or contents of your tasks and thoughts.

3. Device Permissions

Local Notifications: Shortly requests permission to send notifications to your device to alert you when a task has 6 hours remaining. These notifications are scheduled and triggered entirely locally by your device's operating system, not by a remote cloud server.
